the musings and views of a life that is ambiguous and hazy but worth living :)
Learning to walk set you free. Learning to dance gives you the greatest freedom of all: to express with your whole self the person you are.

another incident
so it was bound to happen to me sometime this year. My car got broken into last night. My parents and I were eating at Logan's on North 10th and in exactly an hour my laptop (my life) and a big bag full of stuff was stolen from my car. They broke my window. My parents lent me the Jeep to drive around. My phone charger was in my bag they stole so they gave me an old one that luckily I had an adapter for. My camera charger was in the computer bag. My software for editing pictures and videos was also in the bag. My MAKEUP was in the big bag they stole. Funny thing going to school with no make up on. I was asked if I was sick. I was asked if I was breaking out. It's disturbing to me that people hold nothing back. I mean if someone looked like crap and looked like they had been crying then I wouldn't make it a point to tell them they looked bad. ...but that's not even the problem I have with people right now. Right now I am furious at the people who did this. My laptop held precious documents and memories that I will never be able to get back. Memories from all my trips this past year. It was only yesterday that I uploaded my Jamaica pictures into my laptop and then deleted the entire camera to make room for the football games. I have videos from NY. Illegal videos that I risked losing my camera to capture. Benji!!!!!!! I had everything in the other bag they took. ALL my dance shoes. Lyrical sandals....like three pairs. Jazz shoes. An apple. MY MAKEUP. I don't buy just any makeup. If you have ever read my blog before you know my favorite store is Sephora. It took me years to build up my collection. A collection complete with expensive brushes, discontinued eye shadows that will never be sold again, gift sets with sentimental value, eyeliners that are unbelievable pricey, mascara, i mean everything. This always happens to me. Every year around this time, something bad goes wrong. Three years ago a car crash. Two years ago I sprained my ankle. I barely bought my laptop last August. It literally just had it's birthday. I finished paying it off in July. My music, pictures and videos were my life. This hurts so very much. For some strange reason I still have hope that it will find its way back to me. I just had learned to make movies. I had completed four DVDs for the middle schools to practice with. It had one bluetooth mouse in the pocket and another usb mouse in the side pocket.
Everyone tells me to be happy it wasn't the car or worse ...you. But just thinking of not having my laptop with me anymore is sickening. Two people actually said the same thing to me..."I hope those people die in a car crash!" I didn't say it and I didn't agree to it but it was kinda funny that they said the exact same thing word for word.
I wish all restaurants had video cameras, but I don't know how much good it would have done anyway.
I miss my laptop. You will always be in my heart.... RIP

100th Post
So this is my 1ooth post. I can't sleep tonight and there is a lot on my mind. I know I am going to pay for this tomorrow morning. Actually school has been going pretty well. The drill team I am in charge of is performing great.
So divine intervention occured and my laptop lost power. I went to sleep finally and blogspot saved what little I had written.

Summer Recap
I had a very good summer. I traveled, read lots of books, went out, and spent time with family and loved ones. It started out very lazy, got busy with the sun, made some money, and now I'm back at work. It doesn't surprise me that the floors in my new dance room were never changed. It is our first day of officer camp and I am really excited. I set up my "office" for now, knowing that I will have to change it when my co-workers get here. Today is Modern. I love Modern. The music, the emotion.... is just so me.
I spent 10 days in NYC. I got to spend some much needed time with my sister. I worked a sample sale and got some free shoes. I went to a fashion meets finance party and saw my first runway show. I read in central park. I went to the MET. I finally saw the Empire State building. I took dance classes in a 3 day convention where I met Benji. I had a blast every single night! I love New York. Literally. I wish I could live there, I really do, but I'm always so scared to try something new. Although that was not the case with food this time....I tried just about everything I could and enjoyed almost all of it. I drank a lot of wine, which usually isn't the norm for me and I met the most amazing group of people. I had some really great adventures. I wish I could write them all down but that would take forever so I'll just put in keywords that will help me remember.
Batman
Shield
hail a taxi
Doug
illegal video
bug bites
"last night"
Dew
so nice to meet you
HA HA that pretty much sums it up....
I took pics but I won't put those up
Hope everything goes well with the Silver Stars Camp!

Fin-al-ee
My heart hurts from all the stupid t.v. I have been watching. Why are all the season finale's so sad? Gossip Girl totally sucked. I think Dan is the stupidest person on the face of the earth. Blair and Chuck... can you say yuck!... and what was wrong with Vanessa? OK, I will admit it, I didn't like her at first but she grew on you and the show gave no reason for having them break up. The only cute part was little Jenny H. getting accepted into the Waldorf internship. I did however like the quote of letting go of the things that we loved when we were young.... And holding on to it is keeping us from moving forward. I seriously need to take a hint from the t.v. that I watch. House was really really sad...as if I wasn't already feeling depressed from Gossip Girl, I turned on House. He finally remembered the symptom that was so very important. It was so sad the way the story turned out...to know that you pretty much killed the one person that meant more than anything to your one and only best friend. Wow...and not to mention HIMYM, a proposal? Don't even get me started on Sunday's shows. Everything just left me confused and wondering. Doors were opened left and right. I guess that's what make shows entertaining.
So, enough about t.v...... I sometimes wonder what my life would be like if I was someone else. What if I was a movie star? What if I was homeless? What if I were alone? And then I remember that I am alone. Even if I am surrounded by family, friends, students, and lovers.... I always feel alone. Maybe that's just the way that I'm hardwired. It's not something that I can't get past though. Like I said before, keeping busy is what keeps me going. Not sitting and having time to think, makes things better.
I bought new jeans. Finally! I haven't decided what to do with the old ones though. It seems like such a waste to throw them away...but I can't possibly wear them....lol....
YSL is offically my favorite fragrance maker.
Haven't been reading like I should. I need to.

Thunder and Lightning
So my internet has been down for like days now. I don't know how to fix it. I am bumming off a "superduper router" from like a neighbor or something.
My work life and home life are really different right now. It seems almost opposite all the time. If something is going good at work then my home life sucks, if home life is great then work life sucks. When can things get equal?
Oh yea, why is it that people don't return text messages or phone calls. I'm not talking about relationships here, I'm talking about people you just know. Maybe it's good news. Maybe it's not, but either way, isn't the polite thing to do is call back?
My sister graduated from Southwestern. It was awesome. My mom and I drove to Austin on Friday, picked up my sister and dad and had dinner together. The next day was the hottest day of the month! I felt bad for her in her black robe, especially when standing on a riser to take the panoramic picture, but she looked great and should be proud. Luv you Lana! We came back on Monday, so it was like a four day weekend. To top it off we have inservice today (Friday) so I only had to teach 3 days this week. Work life rocks!
We also had Drill Team tryouts...again. Now I have a total of 24 people on my Silver Star Dance Team. Our first performance is Saturday. Freshman orientation. I found myself staying an hour later than I had to but I have kinda gotten a little carried away with this organization stuff. Today we met the band directors and worked out our room assignments for next year. Turns out that we can keep a dance room. Yea!

I wear my heart on my tree
So I did a funny thing the other day.
I was painting a poster for school and I bought all these paints and things. I mostly used the black and silver markers and so I had the poster paints left over. My trees were cut the other day and one branch was facing the front. I decided to paint a red heart on it... only the paint looked like hot pink. It turned out even better. It surprised me and lasted through the rain storm last night. It looks really cool and I'm going to try to put a pic up of it.

Jewelry Armoire
I realized that the only way to be happy, is to make yourself happy. If that means living alone, buying the things you want (without feeling guilty), and eating whatever you like instead of whats "good for you" then so be it.
Letters are a lost novelty. Really. I mean, think about it. You get to say what your thinking, write it down on paper, and send it away knowing it will get to the person you want in a few days. Now, normally this is where people would advocate how email is faster, more reliable, and cheaper. There is just something about writing a letter and sending it off that gives me a feel of accomplishment. Maybe that's why I love sending and receiving Christmas cards. It means someone actually took the time and effort to say how much they miss you, or wish you the kind greetings.
I went out over the weekend. My test was Sat. and omg was it difficult. The book I studied had almost nothing to do with the test, so I'm almost sure I failed. So, I decided to go out that evening and "unwind". I went to Dubai, a new place that recently just opened. It was fun and I enjoyed my company. I saw a lot of people from Edinburg there.
Last night I went out to celebrate my aunts birthday along with my mom and my other aunts. It was a nice event. We went to Olive Garden where I shared a meal with my mom. The birthday girl made a funny comment about Zoloft that, for some reason, I considered hilarious.
I've noticed that people are split into two groups. People who only talk about themselves and their families, and people who listen. It seems the people who talk, talk a lot, never letting the listeners have a chance to discuss and speak. But it should be noted that it is only the listeners fault for letting this happen to them. Generally, listeners can date both types of people but talkers can't date other talkers.
I bought a jewelry armoire. It is beautiful. It has so many hooks for earrings. I think I buy more earrings than anything else, so this was the best feature for me. I want to have a garage sell and sell items such as unwanted jewelry, the boxes that I am no longer going to use, and clothes that I don't wear anymore. I feel bad because the boxes were gifts from my 15th birthday party, but they seriously take up too much room and have got to go.
Next month I want to buy a camera. I really need one for next year.
Speaking of next year....
I found out that I am going to be the drill team director for Juarez-Lincoln High School. I officially changed the name to Silver Stars. I really didn't like the name Starlettes. It sounds too skank. I'm glad my principal agreed.
I found out that I have a lot more in common than I thought with my fellow teachers and administrators. We have shared a lot of the same experiences and feel the same way about certain people. I'm glad I'm not alone with my feelings and emotions. I was thinking... if you considered a person, and got all the people that hated this person in one room together... how big would the room have to be? How big would your room be? I was thinking that this certain individual would need a gym sized room to fit all the people that hated him/her. Isn't that sad? I almost feel sorry for this person.....almost....next topic!
In the summer my next purchase is going to be a bar set. I found the one I want. I just need to pay off the amoire and then I can make the next purchase. I love having good credit. I can thank my father for that.
Speaking of thanks...holidays are coming up. Mothers day, Fathers Day. Secretaries day was this past Wednesday. I made them all a little gift. I have learned to keep my Secretaries happy. I already bought my Mom a gift. I know she will like it. I kind of want one myself. I don't know what I'm going to get my Dad yet, but I still have time.

Relief
It has been a wild ride this semester and it is not even over. Spring break came and went, too fast in my opinion. I finished reading Lucky under a tree. It was an amazing book. I also read 3 out of the four books I bought at Half Price Books. I put the fourth one on hold because I am now studying to take the P.E. exam on April 19th. I kind of mapped out sections by days but its hard to self teach. I had originally planned on making this certificate a back up plan, but I am pleased to record that my plans have changed and I have a home for next year. I was looking at the calendar and there are only nine more weeks of school. Oddly enough, our last "six weeks" has about "eight weeks" in it. We don't get out of school till June 6. We started late so I guess it evens out.
Drill team tryouts are this week. I am really excited to see who makes it. This year the school is splitting up into 3 schools: La Joya High School, Palmview High School, and Juarez-Lincoln High School. The drill teams will be called the Jewelettes, the Rubies, and the Starlettes. Two high schools will be 5-A and one will be4-A.
It seems like Spring is the time for old friends to want to catch up.
There are a lot of things in my life that bother me. I try to keep my self positive, but sometimes my mind makes them more than they really are.
Tax season is here. I hope I get a good return. I still don't know how it works but I have a good job, I'm single, and I own a home....aside from children, I don't know what else factors into the whole tax equation.
I haven't been working out. I feel really guilty about that, but for some reason I haven't been motivated or even up to going. I have been really tired lately.
I found out yesterday that I only have 2 and a half more days of school that I can miss. I have it all planned out. On the 28 of this month I have a very important doctors appointment. It was scheduled for the morning but I called and had it changed to 2 pm. There is my half day. My sister is graduating in May, and we are going up as a family to witness her walk. There are my other 2 days. So from now until school ends I can't get sick.
I have been really into organizing lately. I have these binders at work, and all I want to do is make sure everything is in order and in its place. I have also labeled every supply I own with my name on it. I recently got into a fight with my co-worker over glue. GLUE! Of all things to fight about, really. Anyways, it lead to us not speaking for a while, and the tension is really high. Why are girls so catty?
My 4th period class won a contest recently called Pennies for Patients. They have their pizza party on Friday. Even I am looking forward to that. We are benchmarking TAKS Math on Friday also.
My parents went to Vegas this past weekend for a wedding. They said they had a great time. I wish I could have joined them. I love Las Vegas.
Jasper has gotten so much bigger. As I am writing this blog he wants to walk on my chest but he literally takes my breath away. He is such a sweet cat. My mom calls them my "lions".

Trying to be normal
Competition season is finally over. Last weekend the Jewelettes competed in Houston. They came home with 11 awards. They did fairly well. I feel that they could have done better but only because I have seen them before.
I got a new haircut. One word: Bangs. They really do change a persons face. I have heard several comments from "It looks like a wig" to "You look like a doll". I'm not sure if they were meant as a positive but I took them and made them a positive. I don't mind looking like a doll, I think dolls are pretty. I even got a funny comment: "Ms, you look evil". HAHA. I think I am beginning to like it.
I have started another book. I have gotten into the habit of starting books and not finishing them. I started "The Golden Compass" but I have already seen the movie so I lost interest. The same goes for "Perfume". I tried to read another Jodi Picoult book but I'm finding that they are all similar. It usually takes me a while to get into it. I started reading "Lucky". So far it seems good.
Looking forward to the weekend :)

V-Day Weekend
I had a wonderful Valentine's Weekend! I can't say that about the day, but the weekend was a blast. I got to see "Definintely, Maybe". It was so funny. I loved the way they depicted time with the electronics. It turned out to be a good movie. I also saw "Across the Universe", which was a totally different type of movie. It was really creative and the little dancing it did have was awesome.

Time Off
I got home today and actually washed my car. It felt so helpful to do something so simple that it just cleared my mind and let me focus on the task at hand. No phone calls, no meetings, no yelling. Time for myself. Time for watering the lawn. Time for dinner. Downtime. I has been a long time since I have had that. It feels nice. I will enjoy it while I can.
My Dad comes home tomorrow from San Fran. He sent me a pic from his phone of the bridge and it looks so beautiful there. I always thought that I would live there, even though I have never been there. I was told once that I would enjoy it. He was mainly talking about the weather but I feel like I would agree with him.
I have my dance tech. students dancing lyrical. They seem to like it more and more each day. The only thing is that it is really stressful on my body, especially my ankle. It's sore and starting to hurt. I think it's because I do the same thing 5 times a day. It will get better soon. The good thing is that it is keeping me in shape.
I have this problem student. I haven't seen her since Jan. 9th and I mark her absent everyday. The only thing is that last week I saw her at an assembly for the school. I wrote her up and turned her name into the discipline office. Today she comes in asking for a pass to CIS and I told her "No, you need to come to class, get inside." She got all huffy and puffy and walked out of my office. She never returned. So I wrote her up again. I don't know if it is helping. I called to her house but both numbers are disconnected. I don't know what else there is to do. Looks like I have to fail another student. It's amazing how many students actually fail dance. On the upside some of the students that I previously had problems with are now starting to work with me more and even starting to shine. I wish all of my students cared as much as I do about dance but then again don't all teachers wish the same thing?

St. Jude
Today, my Mom took me to St. Jude Church in Pharr. It was a really beautiful place. I kinda wish I had known about it when I was younger so that I would've had a place to go to when I felt lost. I was a beautiful trip that I'm glad we made together.
My cousin had her 2nd Birthday party. Hannah was so cute. She sat and opened all her presents. I had bought a purple monkey at Target to put on the gift bag. She looked so cute holding it close and petting it. It made me cry to see a little gift mean so much. She walked up to her grandma and showed her the monkey. It was too cute. They go all out for her birthday. A moon jump, a slide, a cotton candy machine. It was fun even for big kids.
Saturday was the Drill Team competition and my girls kicked ASS! Literally. They returned home with 21 awards! For me, as a director, I have never come home with that many. I mean, hearing our name called over and over again was just awesome. Here is the website if anyone wants to look up the contest results ~~~~> www.danceadts.com
Another big win was Dynamite Dance Studio. They did spectacular. Well, their team mostly consisted of our girls but nevertheless they deserve a hand.
I feel bad for DanzForce Academy. I thought they would walk away with more. Those girls are so talented, their routines just needed to be cleaned more.

Nervous
This weekend is our drill team competition. It is pretty much everything I have been working towards for months. It all comes down to this one day. I hope the Jewelettes do well. We all have been working and stressing so much. My only wish is that everything go smoothly. Good Luck La Joya!
I had dinner with my parents tonight. I haven't seen them in a while. I did see them at the Superbowl, but it was with a lot of family, so it wasn't the same thing. I miss them. A lot. I know that sounds weird but I miss having someone there for me who care for me and love me no matter what. It really is a rare thing in life to have people like that. I thank God for my family.
My Dad is off to San Fran. for NADA convention. I hope this trip goes well for him.

All We Are
I tried to paint you a picture, the colors we're all wrong
Black and white didn't fit you, and all along
You we're shaded with patience, and strokes of everything
That I need just to make it, and I can see that...
Lord knows I've failed you, time and again
But you and me are all right
We won't say our goodbye's, you know it's better that way,
We won't break, we won't die, it's just a moment of change
All we are, all we are is everything that's right
All we need, all we need, a lover's alibi
I walked a minute in your shoes, they never would have fit
I figured there's nothin to lose, I need to get
Some perspective on these words, before I write them down
You're an island and my ship has run aground
Lord knows I'll fail you time and again,
But you and me we're alright
We won't say our goodbye's, you know it's better that way,
We won't break, we won't die, it's just a moment of change
All we are, all we are is everything that's right
All we need, all we need, a lover's alibi
And every single day that I can breathe,
You change my philosophy,
I'm never gonna let you pass me by
So don't say our goodbye's, you know it's better that way,
We won't break, we won't die, it's just a moment of change
All we are, all we are is everything that's right
All we need, all we need, a lover's alibi (x2)
I love this song.... it's by One Republic and it came out on the Gossip Girl Reveled Episode. I fell in love with it. Enjoy!

Superbowl Sunday
Sunday was the Superbowl. I watched it at my uncles house. There has been a lot of stuff going on in my life right now. Much more than I can explain online. It seems as if I have gone back to journals. Some things are so private, I just don't want anyone else to know. Is that wrong? Does it make it seem like I have something to hide? I'm just not sure anymore. This blog was supposed to be for celebrating life, and documenting the wonderful things that happen to me, but what about the bad things? What about the stressful things? What about the scary things? One of the most scariest things is the "not knowing". Guilt is something that can eat you up and make you feel like there is no hope. If your lucky then there is someone you can count on to help you out through such emotional times.
When I go back and read my previous entries, I am reminded of how happy I was. I mean, not long ago, I was on top of the world. I was a winning choreographer! Now all I feel is down and out. Thats how life is, right?
Hopefully things will get better. I just have to keep praying.

So Sick *Updated*
I was sent home from work on Tuesday. I left work around 2:30 and went to the doctors office. I waited for what seemed like forever. I had a temperature of 101.3 (and that's because I had taken Tylenol that morning) and I had blood work done and some breathing test. I got a shot and then went to fill my prescriptions. I got home and was literally in bed for the next two days. My Mom brought me dinner that night. Thanks mom! I still have the bruise from the blood work.
On the day that I got sick and had to go home, I received a package in the front office. It turns out that my little soloist Julissa Cuellar sent me flowers! Did I mention that during the Junior Competition last Saturday, my solo won 1st place. My girl was competing against two studio girls and beat them both! One of them had been champion for like years, so beating her was the icing on the cake. So her and her mom sent me flowers with a really nice card. That was so sweet.
So our dances are finally done and our Showcase is on Thursday. Our girls are definitely not ready but we are going to try our best.

Bella Baby
My kitty has been acting really funny lately. She has been meowing outside my door at night. Not a "I'm hungry, feed me" meow... it's a more wanting and longer sounding meow. It sounds really awful. She wants me to let her in to sleep with me. I let her in tonight and she walked around the bed for a while. She never stays in one place too long. She gets scared and distracted easily. She sheds too much fur for her to stay on the bed all night. I also think it's unfair to let her in and not Jasper. I was told that I favored Jasper more than Bella. I tried to rectify that by going out of my way to treat Bella nicer. Like giving her extra treats when Jasper wasn't looking. Or like tonight, letting her in with me. It just seems unfair now. I would let both of them in but Jasper tears up my bed and wants to play around too much. He would never let me sleep. So I keep them both out.

Good Luck!
This weekend is the middle school and elementary drill team competition. It is at S.P.I. and I'm heading out with my mom after school Friday to stay the night. I hope the weather improves. It has been cold and rainy. I love this weather, but when I'm at home in my comfy bed. I just want to wish the middle schools from La Joya good luck. I know all the directors have worked extremely hard and I'm sure it will all pay off. Go Coyotes! I also want to wish my little soloist from Trevino Elementary good luck as well. LET IT BE!
This week has been really hard. First our choreographer doesn't show up on Monday morning. It is very hard for me to wake up an hour earlier every day and still come home at 8. Its almost like working 13 hour days now. But to wake up and to go and just sit there is not fun for me. This old game is getting really tiring.
I'm happy to report that the kick routine I am making up is coming along. It looks good. There are a few things that I already know I want to change. It is a three minute routine that's fast and has more kicks than any other kick routine I have ever made up. I really like it.
I received a new book yesterday. I still haven't finished the ones I have yet, but this one was given to me. I'm debating whether or not to move it up on the reading list. I think that I just might.
Some notes for today:

New Years Resolution = Out the Window :(
I told myself my new year's resolution was to not stress over things that are out of my control. Today that went out the window. We have this fundraiser for drill team this Sat. and two of girls decide to tell us Thursday night that they won't be able to go because they have a competition on that day. Competition my a$$... we specifically asked them when every single girl was free, so that everyone could make it. They go and book a competition on the same day? I don't think so. On top of that they lied to us (the directors) and tried to make it seem like they didn't have a choice, and that they were notified yesterday. We got down to the bottom of it and found that wasn't exactly the whole truth. In fact it was a total lie. I was so angry I was shaking.
This totally sucks. I get so worked up over the smallest thing. The solution is simple. They don't go to the fundraiser, they get taken out of the dance. Simple as that.
Sure. ....Only thing is that we have to also deal with parents. Normally parents are OK, as long as they stay away...lol....no seriously. My message to parents with kids in after school activities: Please let us do our jobs. We have your son/daughters best interest at heart.
Well I'm still going to try to keep my resolution...but the team isn't making this easy.
Some notes: What do I really want out of my love life?

Bicycle Man
On my way home yesterday I almost hit a man riding a bike. I was at a light turning right, and I stopped to check for cars coming down the lane. I was just about to press the gas and go when I turned my heat and Bam!... out popped this man on a bike wearing a Bobcat letterman jacket. I had to stop and let the reality of what just happened sink in. I could have killed someone. It was so dark and dangerous for him to be out. If anyone has ever seen a Bobcat letterman they know it is not exactly the lightest color to wear at night. The majority of it is blue. After I collected myself, I got really angry. WTF was he doing riding on that side of the road. He was traveling against traffic! I mean it was practically like driving on the wrong side of the road. This crazy lunatic must have a death wish. I'm just lucky that I have really good vision.

Love Love Love this quote!!!
This quote comes from the show Cashmere Mafia. It's only the second show and it already has me hooked. It's sort of a Sex and the City knock off but with a more power driven, have it all, girl power attitude thing.
There is a part where a woman sort of threatens another woman's territory and here is her retaliation:
"Just so you know...I don't blame you for hitting on my husband. He's a good looking guy, and he's an adult so I trust him to make his own decisions, but Don't Hit On My Kids,.......ever again."
Haha....If you saw it you would love it too.

First Official Day
Well it started out really rough. I didn't go to sleep early last night because I took a nap after school, so it was a struggle for me to get up. I know the exact time I have to leave in order to get to work on time. I went grocery shopping last night, so that I could have lunch the next day. I don't like drinking La Joya for various reasons, so I bought a gallon of Spring Water. Well last night I leave it out so that I can remember to take it with me to school. Not a good idea. My cats must have been curious so they poked holes in it and when I woke up there was water everywhere. Luckily my keys were not on the counter so the remote wasn't ruined, but my bag however was. Needless to say I was not as early as I wanted to be.
After the brief chaos in the morning, the rest of my day was much better. My students really seemed like they missed me, and as cheesy as this might seem, I missed them too. The classes were not as prepared as I would have liked them but they were willing to take on the new changes.
Practice was great. I really think we are finally moving in the right direction. Only one thing will hold us back: Time. We have one month to get everything finished. Fingers crossed.

Back to School
School started today. It was a teacher work day so there were no students so it kind of eased us into it. This past weekend was stressful. I know money makes the world go round but sometimes it makes the world spin so fast it literally makes you sick. I am lucky enough to have my family there for me.
We went to Mexico on Friday. We ate, shopped, and walked around. I got some cookies and a couple of DVD's. We got home and I started helping my mom on a calendar project.
Saturday I slept. Sun wasn't much of a difference.
Now all the fun begins. Competition season is here. I will be going to the Island next weekend to watch then our season starts.
My sister has a meeting today with Prada. I wish her the best of luck!

Happy New Year!!!
Yea!!! 2007 is gone and the new year is here. There is a High School Reunion meeting today. I definitely want to go. I want to see how everyone is doing and it would be nice to be involved with the whole making of.
My sister is gone. She is now living in NYC. I am so very proud of her and I miss her terribly.
For some reason I always date my boyfriends more than once. Isn't that crazy? I mean all of them. Why is that? Is there something wrong with me? I really need to evaluate that little fact. It's not always my fault either.
So, another reason to vent: The considerate phone call.
Why is it so hard to pick up the phone and call a person? If your making plans with someone, and realize that your not going to be able to make it, why not call them and tell them? It's only right. Why leave them hanging and waiting?
There is a marathon of America's Next Top Model going on all this week. Cycle 1-9. I have seen almost all the cycles, but for some reason I can't stop watching. My new show that I can't tear my eyes away from is Crowned. It is so entertaining.
This weekend, I'm planning to go to Mexico with my parents. I am really looking forward to it. We are going to eat lunch, shop and hopefully I can buy a bottle.
